Academic Excellence

Gagan emerged as an academic scholar when he secured the first rank in the 9th and 10th standard. His sincere interest in Mathematics and Science led him to Gangapur; a town 30 kilometers away from his village, to pursue Non-Medical studies. His outstanding performance in the 12th grade paved the way for his admission to the prestigious IIT BHU.

Upon entering IIT BHU, Gagan chose a five-year integrated dual course in civil engineering for its potential to open doors to reputed government jobs. As he transitioned from Hindi-medium schooling to an English-medium college, he encountered linguistic barriers that tested his mettle. Yet, setbacks were not stumbling blocks but stepping stones.

Grandfather's Vision and a Shift in Focus

Guided by his grand-father's dreams and a deep concern for rural issues, Gagan initially considered engineering services but ultimately found his calling in civil services. The motivation to improve conditions for farmers and rural areas became the driving force behind his ambitions.
