Kisi bhi desh me government aur banks to hote hi hai magar in governments aur banks ke liye bhi ek bank ki zaroorat hoti hai. Iss bank ko hum Central Bank bolte hain. India me Central Bank RBI hai.
Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, ke tahat RBI India ki Central Banking Authority hai. Ye ek aisi organization hai jo Indian Rupee aur ussey related saari policies ko dekhti hai.
RBI kis liye exist karta hai?
Central bank hone ki vajah se RBI ke bahut sare functions hote hain ya yun kahein ki exist karne ke reasons hote hain. RBI ke functions me yeh sab aata hai:
- Indian banking system ko regulate aur supervise karna
- Indian currency ke banknotes issue karna
- Financial stability maintain karke rakhna
- National monetary policy ko implement karna
- Financial inclusion ko promote karna
- Financial institutions ko develop karna
- Banks ke liye bank ka kaam karna aur banks ke accounts ko maintain karna
- Foreign exchanges ko manage karna
Ab baat karte hain ki yeh jo currency hai yeh kab print hoti hai aur print hone ke baad money ka kya hota hai?
RBI har saal notes ki kitni quantity chahiye iska ek estimate lagata hai. Fir supply ke liye India me jitni printing press hain unhe notify karta hai. Kaunsi denomination ke kitne pieces chahiye, is baat ka bhi dhyan rakha jaata hai.
Kuch banks ke paas ek currency chest hota hai. Basically ye currency chests RBI ke behalf par fresh printed currency store karte hain taaki aage baaki banks aur branches ko vo baanti jaa sake.
Magar kitne notes print hone hain ye kaise decide hota hai? Depending upon kitne notes ki aur zaroorat hai aur kitne bad quality notes replace karne hain, in dono cheezon ko dhyan me rakh kar hi decide hote hai ki kitne notes print hone hain.
