IPS Salary

IPS Officer ki salary India mein starting mein Rs.56,100 approx. hoti hain. (DA, HRA, etc extra hota hain). Ye 7th Pay Commission recommendation ke baad hoti hain. IPS Officers ki salary unke ranks ke hisaab se humne niche diya va hain.

IPS Officer Eligibility

1.Nationality

• IPS Officer banane ke liye nationality Indian honi chahiye. Jiska matlab Indian citizen hi iss post ke liye apply kar sakta hain.

2.Educational Qualification-

• IPS Officer banane ke liye aur CSE dene ke liye ek candidate ko graduate hona bahut zaruri hain. Iss se farak nahi padta kis stream se ya konse course mein graduation ki hai, bas graduate ki degree honi chahiye ek recognised Indian University se.
  Recognised University ka matlab ek university jo incorporated ho ‘Act of Parliament’ mein ya phir ek University jo ek Deemed University ho, University Grants Commision (UGC) ke duwara.
• Iske alawa graduation ke final year ke students bhi appear kar sakte hain Preliminary Examinations ke liye.
• Candidates jinke paas Recognised University se Professional aur Technical degrees hain vo bhi eligible hote hai iss post ke liye.
• IPS officer ke liye UPSC provisional basis pe bhi kuch candidates ko admit karega jinke paas MBBS ki degree ho ya candidates jinhone koi aur Medical exam paas kara ho apni internship khatam kare bina. No limit ka matlab hai attempts ki upper limit nahi hain aur kitni bhi baari exam mein appear ho sakte hain.

Physically challenged candidates ki age limit hain 42,45 aur 47 saal, General, OBC aur SC/ST category ke liye kramash.

Number of attempts hote hain 9 General aur OBC category ke liye aur unilimited SC/ST ke liye.

4.Physical requirements

• Blood Pressure (High): Age 23 – 123; Age 24 – 124; Age 25 – 122; Age 28 – 124; Age 30 – 125; Age 32 – 126; Age 34 – 127
• Ears ki achi sunane ki shamta honi chahiye aur normal ear cavity; 1000-4000 frequency tak honi chahiye. Hearing impairment 30 decibels se zyada nahi honi chahiye.
• Nasal test mein candidate haklana nahi chahiye.
• Ladies pregnant nahi honi chahiye test ke dauraan.
• Colorblind test ke liye High Standard hona chahiye. Inherent night blindness nahi honi chahiye. Vision stereoscopic honi chahiye.
• Kuch physical standard bhi bahut zaroori hain IPS Officer banane ke liye , jo hain hafte mein 10km bhaag pana 60 mins mein , rope climibing aur horse riding kar pana ,etc.

IPS Prelims Exam Pattern

IPS Prelims ki Marking Scheme

• GAT ke paper ka harr question 2 marks ka hota hai.
• CSAT ke paper ka harr question 2.5 marks ka hota hai.
• Harr wrong jawab ke liye ⅓ marks,  jo ki (0.33) marks hain, kaate jaayenge.
• Agar candidate ne ek question ke liye ek se zyada jawab diye toh usse galat jawab mana jaayega.
• Agar question ka blank chora yani ki koi bhi jawab nahi mark kiya tab uss pe koi bhi penalty nahi lagegi.
• 33% minimum marks hote hain Prelims mein usse quality karne ke liye.

IPS Mains ke liye candidates Prelims dene ke baad qualify karte hain. Jo candidates IPS Prelims mein 33% ya usse zyada marks se clear karjate hain woh candidates IPS Mains, jo ki paper 2 hota hain mein appear karne ke liye qualify karjate hain. Mains mein do type ke papers hote hain- ek Qualifying paper hota hai aur dusra Merit paper hota hai.

Merit paper mein 7 papers hote hain, jo saare 300 questions ke hote hain.

Exam Pattern

• Harr paper 250 marks ka hota hai
• Harr paper 3 ghante ka hota hai, aur extra 30 invites milte hain blind students ko.
• Mains ke exam mein 7 papers honge jahan candidates apni knowledge aur understanding pe test kiye jaate hain.
• Iss paper mein questions dono tarike ke hote hain objective type aur subjective type. Question English aur Hindi dono languages mein framed hote hain.
• IPS mains do compulsory papers mein divided hota hai- pehla Qualifying paper aur dusra Merit paper

Qualifying Paper

Paper A:  250 marks ka hota hai aur yeh paper candidate apni selected language mein deta hai, jo ki 6th schedule of the Indian Constituition mein se hi honi chahiye.

Paper : yeh paper candidate English mein deta hai aur paper bhi 250 marks ka hota hai.

Merit Exam

Yeh paper candidate ki intellectual aur interpersonal skills test karne ke liye hota hai. Iss paper ke essay type questions candidates ko test karti hai unke subjects ki understanding par.

IPS Mains Marking Scheme

• Mains ke total marks 1750 hote hain
• Harr question ki weightage 2.5 marks hoti hai
• Candidates ko test kiya jaayega- basics, understanding the problem/situation, solution, presentation aur language par.
• Iske alawa candidates ko do optional papers bhi choose karne hote hain.

Saares Indian Police Service undergo karte hain probationary training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie aur Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad mein. Successful completion of probation ke baad, officers service mein confirmed hote hain. Isse hum Foundation course kehte hain jo almost 15 weeks ka hota hain, jo initially Mussoorie mein hota hain aur baad mein service ke according. IPS ki instructional training hoti hain National Police Academy Hyderabad mein.

Trained officers appoint hojate hain as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) apne respective states mein jinke under dusre sub rank inspectors kaam karte hain.

Exam Pattern

• Mains se qualify karne wale candidates eligible hote hain Personality Test ke liye.
• Iss test ka aim ye hota hai ki candidates ki suitability test karne ki liye as a career in public services. Yeh suitability ek Board test karti hai jo ki unbaised aur competent observers se bani hoti hai.
• Iss test ka main maksat hota hai candidate ka mental calibre test karne ka.
• Jo qualities candidates ki judge hoti hain woh hai- mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation, clear aur logical exposition, balance of judgement, variety aur depth of interest, ability for social cohesion aur leadership, intellectual aur moral integrity.

• Iss interview mein 275 marks pe grade kiya jata hai. Isse IPS ke total marks hojate hain 1,750(mains) + 275(personality test) = 2,025 marks.

Exam wale din ki Instructions

• Candidates koi hi extra rough sheet nahi leke jaa sakte hain, woh centre mein hi provide hogi
• Jo cheezein candidates cetre mein leke nahi jaa sakte hain unke udaaharan hain- log tales, calculators, maps, electronics, notes, loose sheets, book, etc. agar inn mein se kuch bhi kissi bhi candidate ke paas mila toh uss candidate ka paper cacel hojata hai.
• Exam Hall ke andar kissi bhi tareeke ka misbehaviour saha nahi jata hai.
• Candidates ko black ball point pen apne saath carry karna chahiye.
• Candidates ko yaad se apna IPS ka admit card leke jaaa chahiye.

IPS Cut Off

Har saal 150 ke aas paas IPS Officers bante hain. Last Rank jitne tak IPS Officers bante hain vo lag bhag 250 hoti hain. Ye general category ka humne aapko bataya , par ye bhi vary karta hain aur kabhi kabaar 267 tak chala jata hain.

OBC ki rank 600 ke aas paas tak honi chahiye. SC/ST category ke liye 900 ke aas paas tak rank honi chahiye, ye kuch fixed nahi hain aur humne aapko ek estimate diya hain last years ke hisaab se.
