Tarun Kumar, a dedicated Botany and Biology teacher, was born into a modest middle-class family in Delhi, India. Despite the financial constraints faced by his community, he excelled in his studies at a government school, developing a strong foundation in science. Pursuit of Higher Education and Tutoring

Among the students he tutored was a group of Hindi medium students with limited scientific understanding. Tirelessly, Tarun dedicated himself to their education, creating lesson plans and resources to enhance their comprehension. His efforts proved fruitful, as many of these students excelled in their exams.

Balancing Finances and Preparation for UPSC

As Tarun’s academic journey progressed, he understood the importance of balancing his financial responsibilities with his pursuit of knowledge. While considering the stability of a government career, he ultimately chose to continue teaching while preparing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam.

He enrolled in an offline coaching center to enhance his UPSC preparation. However, he found the content lacking relevance and engagement for students.

Driven by a desire to provide better educational opportunities, Tarun resigned from the coaching center and created his own online platform. By developing his own content, he aimed to tailor it specifically to the needs of students and present it in a clear and engaging manner.

During this time, he received an offer to teach a batch of dropper students for a reputable platform. Although the financial incentives were less substantial than his previous coaching job, he recognized the opportunity to reach a broader audience of students.

Tarun’s online courses quickly gained a loyal following. Students were drawn to the high-quality content and his dedication to their success. Through this platform, he connected with students from diverse backgrounds, empowering them to achieve their educational goals.

As his online presence expanded, Tarun collaborated with fellow educators to establish Sankalp Bharat, an organization dedicated to transforming education in India. Their mission was to ensure equal access to quality education for every child, irrespective of their financial circumstances.
