Annual Strategy:

December Onwards:

• The focus should be on reviewing and updating current affairs regularly.
• Comprehensive preparation for the Mains examination’s optional subjects and general studies should be completed within the following 1-2 months.

February Onwards:

• Exclusive attention should be devoted to Prelims preparation.
• The complexity of the Prelims examination should be respected, and ample time allocated for it.

Daily Routine:

Setting Targets:

• Begin with establishing small, attainable goals and gradually increase their scale. Avoid setting excessively ambitious targets that could lead to discouragement.

Study Duration:

• Aim for 6-7 hours of concentrated study each day. Marathon study sessions that exhaust mental energy should be avoided.

Study Sessions:

• Break down study blocks into manageable intervals of 1-2 hours, interspersed with 30-minute breaks.

Prelims Strategy:

Knowledge Base:

• Focus on expanding knowledge through comprehensive study of core textbooks, current affairs, and previous question papers.

Elimination Technique:

• Employ elimination techniques judiciously, as they may not always prove effective.

Test Series:

• Attempt at least 30-40 test series for Prelims preparation. Include mock tests with varying difficulty levels.

Previous Year Papers:

• Analyze previous year question papers thoroughly to identify recurring themes and critical topics.

CSAT Preparation:

Daily Practice:

• Dedicate an hour each day to CSAT preparation from January onwards.

Focused Approach:

• Give proper attention to CSAT and avoid neglecting it.

Interview Preparation :

Authenticity :

• Be genuine during the interview and avoid projecting a superficial image.

Mock Interviews:

• Conduct mock interviews to enhance confidence and develop coping mechanisms.

Current Affairs:

• Stay well-informed about current events and be prepared to discuss issues pertaining to your state or district.

Honesty and Confidence:

• Answer questions truthfully and maintain a confident demeanor throughout the interview.
